Blogger Outreach
We’re really big fans of citizen journalists, fashionistas and democracy in fashion. It’s absolutely flattering that we get lots customers telling us on the telephone or by email that something worked for them; it’s even more wonderful when customers can connect with other users and share experiences, styling tips and fun.
To that end we’re happy to engage with fashion publications from the official PR and media types through to independents such as start up online publications and bloggers. The main thing we’re looking for is that you’re professional in your work, other than that, your opinion, tone and register and what makes you unique!
In our Blogger Outreach Programme we give you news of new collections, offers and tips you can use on your site and we may also ask you to try products and see if you can style them or give suggestion to others on how best to wear them. As well as our wide range of independent jewellers, we also hold the very latest collections from some of Europe’s greatest fashion jewellery designers such as Fiorelli Jewellery, Adele Marie London, Design6 and Oi. There may also be the opportunity to attend fashion industry events and participate in collaborations and feedback panels for select individuals.
There are a few things we ask. You’ll need to have been writing for at least 3 months. We don’t mind where in the world you are but do write legibly and make sure that your site works easily for most people. It doesn’t matter if your site is self hosted or if you use a blogging service like WordPress or Blogger. It doesn’t matter if you use technologies to make affiliate or advertising revenues from your site so long as the main goal is to produce content that will benefit readers rather than just generate clicks. No spam or splogs.
